Russell's 2nd birthday

It's the 24th March 2007 and it's Russell's 2nd birthday. He was quite lonely for a while without the company of friends & relatives, except for us. So we planned an absolute surprise for him. For starters, he woke up in the morning to see his grandparents walk through the door. He was so pleased he didn't know how to react. After that excitement, he settled down and had a nap. When he woke up, it was time for his birthday party. He walked into the hall to see balloons & streamers. And for his gift, an electric toy train set, which he fell in love with straightaway.

We've ordered a birthday cake for him from Mauri, which is the oldest patisserie in Barcelona, which made lovely chocolate-marmalade cakes. You can see him enjoying it.

And non-stop playing with his toy train
